Our Year 8 Future Business Magnates (FBM) Team have won the award for Most Effective Use of Technology in this years entrepreneurial competition for schools, which is run by "Business Durham'.

Partnered with Shildon-based engineering company, the "Bignall Group', our team came up with an innovative car park space detector to claim the award at the prestigious Awards dinner; this was held at Newton Aycliffe's Xcel Centre and hosted by Charlie Charlton, a TV presenter and journalist with the BBC.

We would like to congratulate our FBM team: Charli E, Frances A, Zoe M, Cameron B, Lucas M, Aaron R and Jake D. As a team they won a trophy and each received a certificate and shopping voucher.
