Music students have been working with professional musician, performer and composer, Chad Langford, in two practical sessions designed to inspire creativity and develop technical skills.

Originally from Montana, USA, Chad is now working with Durham University on an exciting Outreach Programme to encourage music development in schools. Pictured here with some of our Year 11 students, Chad has a long and prestigious record of education in music, including a PhD from Durham University. He also boasts a wealth of experience in performing and composing, which he was happy to share with our young musicians.

During the sessions, students were able to develop their specialist knowledge and compose music using the exciting new computer software that Chad has created.
