Year 6 pupils who recently attended our annual Open Evening event were able to take part in a competition to win an Amazon Fire HD tablet.

To enter, participants had to take part in a variety of challenges in different departments around King James and collect stamps from subject teachers on their competition entry card, which they submitted at the end of the night.

The winner was drawn at random the following day, and the prize of an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet was presented by Mr Whitehead to Tyler F from Leeholme. Tyler is currently a student at Victoria Lane Academy, but he hopes to be attending King James in September 2024 alongside his big brother, Mick, who is already in Year 7.
