Year 9 Academy Librarians have been helping Mr Wheatley get ready for World Book Day 2024.

World Book Day will be taking place on Thursday 7th March. This annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading is one of the highlights of the year at the National Literacy Trust, and also a highlight of our Academy calendar.

On World Book Day, every King James student in Years 7, 8 and 9 will receive a free book and a free book token to take home. More information about how we are celebrating has been emailed to parents as well as information about our first ever book fair.
