A group of students in Year 10 have visited Darlington Hospital this week for the first of three meetings as party of the NHS Youth Council.

This is an initiative designed to engage young people aged 14-18 years old, ensuring their voices are heard and valued in shaping healthcare services. During the visit, students explored potential career paths within the NHS, and shared their views on key areas of the Trust's work. They also took part in a range of hands-on activities and gained a valuable insight into how healthcare decisions are made.
