Year 12 Law students enjoyed a Q&A session with Helen Goodman MP recently as part of their A Level studies. The visit was organised by our Teacher of Law, Miss Grieveson as a follow-up to an initial meeting which took place in November in London.

During the session, the group expressed their views on a range of issues affecting young people at both a local and national level and Mrs Goodman showed great interest in their ideas for new legislation and the future of British politics as a whole. She also spoke candidly about her route into politics and the processes and responsibilities associated with being a Member of Parliament.

The group were also joined by two Key Stage 4 students who had made a special request to attend the session due to their keen interest in pursuing a career in politics. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Goodman for taking the time to visit us.
