In Year 10, students opt into a series of presentations with industry professionals. The aim is to inform students about the routes of entry and the skills and qualities required for different roles.

This year, students heard from visiting speakers from the Army, Specsavers, Smith Roddam Solicitors, Amazon and Raby Estates, alongside a Software Engineer and Joiner. They also enjoyed a practical floristry workshop with Allan Raby and Charlotte Perrett, Tutors from East Durham College, where they created colourful boutonnieres to wear on the lapel of their blazer.
