Year 7 Religious Studies students have attended the Bible Times Exhibition at the Wear Valley Christian Centre. This annual event is hosted by Reverend Bob Woods.

The exhibition showcased a variety of Christian and Jewish artifacts, including Torah scrolls and Bibles translated into different languages, as well as a detailed history of the development of both the Jewish and Christian religions.

Throughout the academic year, pupils study the impact of religious belief upon communities. The items on display at the exhibition allowed pupils to see first hand how these have contributed to human understanding of both faith and religion within the modern era.

During the visit, pupils participated in a carousel of different workshops led by volunteers from the Centre where they were able to touch some of the items on display, as well as ask questions about their origins and design.
