Pupils from Woodhouse Primary School are attending weekly sessions with our Media Department to learn filmmaking and editing.
Groups attend sessions for 6-7 weeks and during that time they film and edit a news programme using green screen technology. This is an excellent way to learn new skills using facilities that are often not available in a primary school setting.
Students participate as newsreaders, reporters and camera operators to create 'The Good News Show', delivering the latest positive news on issues from animal welfare and environmental protection to health and wellbeing. Student shave lots of fun appearing in front of the camera but it is also a great way to build personal confidence.
