In Maths, a group of Year 8 students have taken part in a trip to the Stadium of Light and Beacon of Light in Sunderland.

Accompanied by Maths Teachers, Mrs Graham and Miss Curtis, the trip gave students the opportunity to explore the different career options in a football club and to find out how Mathematics is an essential part of the successful running of any football club and of sport in general. Students enjoyed an access-all-areas stadium tour and returned with a much better understanding of how maths is invaluable in industry.
