Each week, Mr Wheatley, our Academy Librarian hosts an after-school Game Club for fans of Warhammer, Pokemon. Magic the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons.

The club is open to students in all year groups from Years 7-13 who share a common interest in table top games, which means it is an excellent opportunity for socialising. Pictured here are the Warhammer group, Gabriel R, Logan P, James C, Charlie T and Ben T, who spend time painting their own miniature models before using them as warriors in the fantasy-themed game. Students can also take part in our lunchtime Chess Club, which is known to raise IQ and build problem-solving skills as well as being lots of fun.
