We have a number of initiatives designed to reward students for good attendance and hard work, but our Grand Attendance Prize is certainly the most popular. Year 10 student, Clarence is our latest worthy winner.

Each week that our students achieve 100% attendance they receive a raffle ticket which is posted in our giant glass case in the Main Hall. This means that the better their attendance, the more tickets they earn and therefor the greater their chance of claiming the prize when the winning ticket is drawn at the beginning of the new academic year.

Last week in assembly, students waited anxiously to see which ticket was drawn, and Clarence was delighted when one of the 37 tickets that he had earned whilst in Year 9 was selected. That was not the only surprise; Clarence was given a choice of amazing prizes including a bike, Amazon vouchers and a PS5 console, which as you can see from this photo was his personal preference.

The initiative has now been relaunched for the 2025-26 academic year and our raffle ticket case already contains a huge number of tickets!
