In June, 30 of our Year 9 students will be travelling to Normandy for a Modern Foreign Languages trip.

The trip will be funded by the UK Turing Scheme, which helps schools to provide meaningful international trips for pupils. Schools can apply to the scheme for funding, and if successful, trips are fully funded or heavily subsidised, which means that international travel becomes possible for all, including those from low income households.

As part of the five day trip, students will be working on a project with school students in France. They will also enjoy a number of excursions to learn about French history and culture.
