As part of our Chinese New Year celebrations, our EDI Ambassadors have taken part in a visit to the Oriental museum in Durham.

During the trip, students explored the beautiful, cultural exhibits at the museum and learned about the traditions and history connected to this important Chinese festival. This trip was just one of the many activities organised to celebrate Chinese New Year at King James.

In Art, students produced themed artwork and produced Chinese lanterns which were used to decorate our Dining Hall. Everyone also enjoyed the themed lunch provided by our catering team, complete with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, spring rolls and prawn crackers.
