Following excellent results, King James is amongst the best schools in the County for positive Progress 8.

Once again, well done to all of our former Year 11 students and the Sixth Form students who achieved excellent results in August.

We have now received provisional information from the Government which highlights that we are amongst the best schools in the County for positive 'Progress 8' (the new headline measure for school performance), as well as achieving significant value added for students in all categories of post-16 qualifications (A' Level, Academic, Applied General, Technical).

This, once again, confirms our recent very positive Ofsted Report which recognised the impact of leaders' "shared ethos of high expectations and high standards across the school".

Well done.
