The five top participants in the online competition earned points at school and home by translating French and Spanish into English.

Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 have been taking part in the Language Perfect global online competition to enhance their learning in French and Spanish.

Students were given a unique online account to track their progress as they learned vocabulary from a selection of langauges and each earned points by correctly translating between their target language and English. Points earned enabled students to claim certificates, awards and prizes.

Participants were able to login as many times as they liked over the 10 day event and because they did not need to be supervised by a teacher to compete, our students could continue at home too. Many of our students embraced the opportunity to earn extra points out of school and the experience has improved their ability enormously. Well done to all of our young linguists.
