Our Student Support workers are Mrs Aldsworth, Mrs Bainbridge, Miss Hutchfield, Mrs Mawdsley and Mr Powell. Mr Middleton supports our 6th form students. 

They offer emotional support, help with friendship issues and support anti-bullying initiatives throughout the academy. Our support team also work closely with outside agencies and will refer students to other relevant professionals so ensure they have the best possible support available. 

Students are welcome to pop in for a chat at break or lunchtimes or they may self-refer by email or by using the confidential Student Self-Referral Card system.  

The Student Support Team are often a first point of contact for parents as well as students. They are all trained to Level 2 in Child Protection and are first aid trained.
